How to get here

If you come from the North (Milano/Venezia)
leave the motorway A1 at the exit of Florence called 'CERTOSA' and take the 'superstrada' to SIENA , leave it at the exit of COLLE VAL d'ELSA SUD, turn right then straight and go on passing 3 round till you enter the route 541 direction GROSSETO. Go straight on the route 541 for about 20 Km. then turn right at the signe LE SCOPAIE-HOTEL LA SELVA (big blue signe) and COTORNIANO( little black signe). Follow the dirt road for 3 Km. and after Hotel La Selva turn left at the signe LE SCOPAIE, then 500 mt. more till the end of the road and arrive at the main entrance of Le Scopaie (see the attached map).

If you come from the South (Rome), leave the motorway A1 at Val di Chiana, take the road 326 to Siena. Before Siena take the road direction GROSSETo ( road 223) and follow for about 14 Km. Turn right at the signe ROSIA/ORGIA/BRENNA. Go on till the stop in Rosia, then turn left and go on for few Km. till the cross with a little column in the middle (Colonna di Montarrenti). Turn right, direction Colle Val d'Elsa, after 1 Km. turn left on the dirt road at the signe LE SCOPAIE-HOTEL LA SELVA (big blue signe) and COTORNIANO( little black signe). Follow the dirt road for 3 Km. and after Hotel La Selva turn left at the signe LE SCOPAIE, then 500 mt. more till the end of the road and arrive at the main entrance of Le Scopaie.
